JEE Main April 2, 2026: Official Papers, Answer Key and Score Checks

Historical exam guide; corrected 7 October 2026. The April 2, 2026 JEE Main papers are past papers. This page now directs readers to NTA’s published material and explains how to use it. It is not a live exam update.

The earlier “expert-backed analysis,” student-reaction summaries and marks-to-percentile predictions did not have an identifiable review panel, response sample or reproducible analysis. They have been withdrawn. Do not use those earlier estimates to judge a rank, admission chance or qualification.

Use the official paper for the correct shift

NTA’s JEE Main website lists both April 2 B.Tech papers. Choose the document matching your session:

Check the date, shift, paper and question identifiers before comparing answers. Do not assume a numbered question on an unofficial solution sheet matches the same number in another document.

Review your attempt without an invented difficulty score

  1. Keep your response information alongside the matching official material, if you have access to it.
  2. Separate unanswered questions from incorrect answers.
  3. For each mistake, note whether the issue was a concept, calculation, misreading or time allocation.
  4. Write the relevant topic and one action: revise the concept, solve a similar problem, or practise checking units and signs.
  5. Reattempt selected questions later without looking at the solution first.

This is an editorial study method, not a survey of candidates. A paper feeling difficult to you does not establish how all candidates performed. The previous labels “easiest subject,” “toughest section” and “good attempt for 90 percentile” are not retained.

Get results and rules from the right place

The official JEE Main portal provides 2026 result links, notices, final keys and the information bulletin. Use the link for the correct paper and session. Keep your login details private and save your scorecard securely.

A raw-score estimate is not your official percentile or rank. Qualification for another examination and admission to a course are also separate decisions. Check the relevant official eligibility and counselling rules rather than treating a coaching prediction as an offer of a seat.

If something does not match

  • First check that you selected the same date, shift and paper.
  • Check whether the document is provisional or final.
  • Look for an official correction or notice on the portal.
  • Use the published NTA contact route for an unresolved result issue; this site cannot amend a scorecard.

Past challenge deadlines should not be assumed open. This guide does not reproduce an unverified timetable or promise that a request made now will be accepted.

Correction: unsupported candidate totals, difficulty tables, future-result urgency, percentile forecasts and admission predictions have been removed. The existing URL has been kept so earlier visitors reach the corrected resource.

If you are preparing for a later assessment, use the practice-question and spaced-study guide to review errors rather than treating this historical paper page as a new timetable.
