Editorial Policy

Effective 6 October 2026. This policy sets the editorial standards for Daily Trend Hub’s articles and substantive revisions. It is not a claim that every older article already meets these standards; existing coverage is being reviewed.

Start with the reader’s question

An article should solve a recognisable problem or explain a defined subject. Its headline must match what it delivers. A results page needs actual results; a price article needs dated prices and their sources; a recruitment article needs an identifiable official notice. Repetition, keyword stuffing and a long word count do not make an article useful.

Sources, facts and uncertainty

  • Use primary sources where available, such as official notices, original research, manufacturer documentation and published records.
  • Link to the document or report supporting an important claim, rather than naming an organisation without a traceable reference.
  • Give dates and context for information that changes. Distinguish a confirmed event from a prediction, estimate, allegation or opinion.
  • Attribute quotations accurately. Do not invent statistics, interviews, sources or endorsements.
  • Label illustrative calculations and hypothetical examples so readers cannot mistake them for reported results or personal experience.

If a central claim cannot be supported, it should be removed, qualified where appropriate, or held back from publication. An attractive headline is not a reason to keep an unsupported claim.

Research, testing and AI assistance

Some articles and revisions use AI assistance for drafting, organisation or language. AI-generated text is not evidence. Factual statements still need checking against relevant sources, and responsibility for what is published remains with the site’s publisher.

Research-based comparisons should explain their sources and selection criteria. A hands-on review must be based on actual use and describe who tested the item, the method and the limitations. Do not imply product ownership, clinical review or firsthand experience that did not occur.

Bylines and specialist subjects

A publication byline identifies Daily Trend Hub’s material; it does not prove a particular person’s credentials or a separate expert review. Named authors and reviewers should be credited only when their contribution is real and their stated experience can be supported.

Health, financial and other consequential guidance requires particular care with evidence, limitations and the difference between general information and personalised professional advice. A disclaimer cannot make an unsupported claim acceptable.

Independence and commercial relationships

Paid placements, sponsorship and affiliate relationships must be identified near the relevant content when they apply. Payment, free products or other benefits must not be presented as independent evidence of quality. Advertisements and commercial proposals do not establish the accuracy of an article.

Updates, corrections and older coverage

Dates should reflect actual publication or meaningful revision. Do not refresh a date merely to make old information appear current. A later development should be identified as an update; an error in the earlier article should be identified as a correction when it materially affects the reader’s understanding.

See the Corrections Policy for reporting errors and explaining material changes. An article that cannot be made reliable may be withdrawn while it is checked or rebuilt.

Raise an editorial concern

Email dailytrendhub365@gmail.com with the article URL, the relevant passage and any supporting evidence. A disagreement with an opinion can be raised as feedback; a disputed factual statement should be supported and checked separately.
